Application:
Used for someone receiving doses of IV fluids or medications. A micro drip (gtt) IV tubing is used for someone receiving smaller doses of IV fluids or medications. You have to turn the tubing on, once you connect it to the tubing, and control the flow rate by standing there and visually counting the number of drops that come out in 60 seconds.
